SOCK MINISTRY: It’s that time of the year…a Thanksgiving tradition…the 14th annual Sock Drive for Sharing and Caring Hands!! Since the first sock drive in 2004, with your generosity; we have gathered nearly 21,000 pairs of athletic socks.
You are likely very familiar with Sharing and Caring Hands. But, if you would like more information on Mary Jo Copeland and the ministry she started in 1985 check out their website at www.sharingandcaringhands.org.
As always, we are forever grateful for help to assist Mary Jo. If you can donate package(s) of new men’s, women’s or children’s (not infants) athletic socks to this effort, we will be collecting these and delivering them to Sharing and Caring Hands. For those who do not have time to shop for socks, you can send a check to us and we will shop for the socks. We are trying to gather all of the socks by Sunday, November 18th to allow us to pack them up and deliver them on Tuesday, November 20.
There will be a collection bin placed in the narthex of the church – please feel free to leave your donation there and we will collect it!
Many thanks and God bless you for helping this very worthwhile ministry!
