Holy Emmanuel Lutheran and Open Arms Christian Early Childhood Center Host Classic Car Show and Harvest Festival

Holy Emmanuel Lutheran Church and Open Arms Christian Early Childhood Center in Bloomington will host a Classic Car Show and Harvest Festival Sunday, October 27. The fun begins at 1 p.m.

The car show, which runs from 1 to 6 p.m., will feature a variety of classic American vehicles. The event will also feature Youth Impact Racing, where kids and youth can “drive” model cars via remote control. Classic cars and racing will take place in the church’s and preschool’s large parking lot.

From 3:30 to 6 p.m., kids can go from car to car to participate in a trunk or treat event (friendly costumes only, please). In addition to trunk or treating, there will be hayrides and games. Food will be available for purchase.

There’s something fun in store for parents, too. Also from 1 to 6:30 p.m., a silent auction and wine pull will be held inside the church as a fundraiser for Open Arms. Attendees can bid on a variety of different items, with proceeds going to fund security upgrades at the preschool. Winners will be notified by phone following the event.

Holy Emmanuel and Open Arms are located at 201 East 104th Street (between Nicollet and Portland avenues) in Bloomington. Questions? Call the church office at 952-888-2345 or the preschool office at 952-888-5116. We hope to see you there!
